My friend had a show at Columbia City not too long ago and his band is only a few months old. I saw Pearly Gate Music tonight there, and my friend drew more people at his show! We both agreed that this made us feel weird. I mean, there were Pickwick-ers and Fleet Foxes in the crowd but WHERE WAS EVERYONE ELSE?
I’ve been cray busy for the past little bit, I’ll get back to Sounders stuff hopefully tomorrow?

Due to the unbalanced schedule, Sounders will only be playing the Impact away this season. Also, flying into Montreal is crazy ass expensive. I’ve been trying for years to go to the tennis tourney there.

I mean, can you honestly say in your heart of hearts that you would feel okay with another city’s team moving here? I’m incredibly conflicted about this. So many people are blasé about the situation, as if they have no conscious nor recollection of history.
The thing is I still don’t want to take another city’s team.
Then we are the criminals and they are the victims.
I hate certain factions saying, “We warned you! No team is safe!” While it can be perceived as a true statement, it’s also incredibly childish to react that way the minute it seems like Seattle is finally getting what it wants.
